Fall in love with lips!

So now that fall is officially upon us (and for some winter) its about time to give a little TLC to your makeup routine! I know that in the fall women tend to make their transition from bb creams to foundation and put away the scandals for boots but what is a not so obvious way to make your regular spring look into something a bit more seasonal.
The best way to go about it is to add in a nice plummy pout into your routine! Even if you do a simple look like winged eyeliner and a bit of mascara these lovely shades will be sure to help you (and your wardrobe) make the fall transition!
If you're not the most makeup savvy person or even if you are but have trouble finding what shades are good for you this post is going to come in REAL handy. I've made a list of both high end and more affordable lippys that will look great on just about everyone! ^.^
The first product I am going to talk about is Revlon lip butter in the color Berry Smoothie, the lip butters are a nice mix of smooth and moisturizing while adding in some color that you can definitely work up. This product is available in any Walgreens ,Target or even Walmart for $6.49 ; my favorite thing about this product is how smooth it makes your lips look!
The second item I am going to tell you about is from the brand Too Faced, it's more high end than Revlon but with a higher price also comes higher quality! This product is from the Lip Injection Color Bomb! line,it is in the shade "Bigger Berry". The whole reason I am recommending this product to you guys is because this product is a lip stain, balm and plumper al at the same time! The color goes very similar t the tony moly bunny lipgloss or the Revlon just bitten kissable lip balm which basically means it goes on colorful but with a very silky smooth moisturizing texture. The color bomb has a very berry color with a reddish/pink undertone so it will do great with lots of different skin tones! ^.^ The color is a stain so applying a liberal amount to being with and just freshen up with your favorite balm or gloss will look great!
WARNING!
Ok so I will warn you all that this has an extremely potent lip plumper in the formula, great for those like myself who enjoy or aren't bothered by lip plumping products but if you do not like them or they agitate your skin this product is definitely not for you.
This product is available at Too Faced.com or at Ulta for 21$ :)
If you have yet to experiment with NYX products than I honestly don't know where you have been! Although it is technically a drugstore brand the quality and pigmentation is supreme and some people even compare it to Urban decay! The butter glosses are a great mixture of rich pigment with a super shiny look and the greatest part about these is that unlike a lot of glosses they don't have that gross sticky feel a lot of other glosses tend to have!
This next product is one of my favorite lip products ever! Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics (or OCC as they are more commonly referred to as) is a professional makeup brand that has recently started selling some of their products at certain Sephora stores. Their lip tars are in a gloss like tube but it is so pigmented and long lasting that a pea sized amount is enough for multiple applications. It dries to a slight shine and isn't exactly the most matte formula but that can be easily solved using a translucent powder. A tube of this costs $18 at Sephora and believe me when I say it will last for years! My fav colors for fall are Black Dahlia (shown above) it goes on a lot lighter than it looks in the container as well as Vintage (shown in the very first photo)
Here comes a second too faced item! Its from the la crème collection (its sans lip plumper) and it is the perfect lipstick for the fall because it adds the perfect amount of color and shine without being drying... at all! Divine Wine the shade listed above is great for warmer complexions and has a very brightening affect for both skin tone and teeth
It can be located at your local Ulta for 21$
Urban Decay has just recently launched their brand of lipsticks a few months ago and the range is as beautiful as the rest of the line. This lipstick in the shade "Shame" is a deep wine color rather than an actual berry, it pulls a dark maroon color that adds a radiance to any complexion. I really love this color, it is definitely a stand out color that will get you lots of compliments!
This product retails for 22$ and can be found at Ulta
The last but certainly not least thing I want to talk about is a long time love of mine from the brand C.O. Bigelow, I've only ever been able to find this brand at Bath & Body Works but I love that place so much it isn't ever a real problem to get to :P The reason I saved this lovely baby for last is because it is in a fool proof lipgloss that is so easy to put on and its not much hassle at all! The mentha in the gloss gives your lips a great tingling feeling without being burning or stinging. I cannot stress how much this product is a love of mine,it is truly a staple in my hand bag and it should be in yours too! This shade has a berry tint to it that's great for all skin tones and festivities.
This product is $7.50 at Bath & Body Works

Thank you guys so much for reading my post and I hope this helps you all in your search for the prefect lip for fall! Be sure to tune into my next post when I will be telling you about easy holiday fixes for your wardrobe & getting festive for the season.
Until then have a great day & stay lovely kittens!
